ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. David D. D’Alise, Albuquerque, New Mexico, attended Southern State College, Durant, Oklahoma, with majors in chemistry and math. He graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry, Chicago, Illinois in 1965 with graduate work in Dental Education and Hospital Dentistry. He practiced in Hobbs, New Mexico from 1965 through 1973. Since January 1974, he has practiced in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Over the past twenty-five years, Dr. D’Alise has presented lectures and clinics on all types of dental implant procedures to groups such as the Eastern New Mexico Dental Society; New Mexico Academy of General Dentistry: West Suburban Dental Society, Chicago, Illinois; Greater Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting, American Dental Association; University of New Mexico Course in Implantology through the Foundation of Advanced Dental Research, American Academy of Implant Dentistry; the Western District of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry; the International College of Oral Implantology World Congress I, II and III in Sydney, Australia, New York and Kyoto, Japan. Dr. D’Alise was awarded a Fellowship ICOI, University of Cairo, Egypt.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Charter Member and past President of the New Mexico Academy of General Dentistry, and the Federation of Prosthodontics Organization. He presently holds fellowships in the International Congress of Implantology, the Academy of Implants and Transplants, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is an Honored Fellow in the AAID.
Dr. D’Alise has been a consultant for Myerson Tooth Company, Austenal Dental Products, Howemedica and has helped them develop a veneering system, precise denture techniques and attachment systems.
He has been published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Quintessence of Dental Technology and the Journal of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. D’Alise currently has an active practice specializing in dental implants and has been placing dental implants for over 40 years. He is also the Chairman and Founder of OCO Biomedical, Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Dr. D’Alise has designed and patented dental attachment systems and the next generation Dual Stabilization® Dental Implant System designed with immediate loading capabilities. OCO Biomedical’s dental implant and attachment systems are distributed and sold in multiple markets throughout the world.
